Brahmi from my backyard
Brahmi is a medicinal plant which is commonly available in my region. This herb is extensively used in Ayurveda and is believed to be very good for enhancing memory other than innumerable other health benefits. Chewing on Young tender Brahmi leaves, freshly plucked fresh off the creeper first thing in the morning is supposed to great for health. My mom uses Brahmi to make Tambli and Chutney with coconut.
These pretty Brahmi leaves in my garden look like small little butterflies to me 🙂
Brahmi from my backyard is my Black and White Photo for this weeks Black & White Wednesday, hosted by Susan behind the wonderful blog ‘Well Seasoned Cook’
