How about some dessert for breakfast?? Doesn’t that sound like a SIN? Not when your Dessert is healthy and good for you!!
This gorgeous Caramelized Banana recipe is decadent enough to be served as dessert paired with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and healthy enough to be served with toasts to make a scrumptious breakfast! Now that sounds perfect, doesn’t it
Bananas are a good source of potassium, fibers and vitamins such as B6, C and A! It is a common breakfast fruit used in smoothies, pancakes, muffins and breads. I love baking with bananas. But there are days when I want some really simple, easy to make breakfast other than bread and egg! This is recipe is for one of those days.
Caramelized Banana is simple enough to be made just for one person. All you need is butter, sugar and one banana and you have a treat for yourself in minutes. It takes less than 10 minutes to transform your humble banana into a great treat!

Ingredients:
- Banana
- Butter
- Sugar
- Roasted cashew nuts
Peel and slit banana into half. Put some butter on a griddle and place the Banana on it. Butter will sizzle and melt. Turn over when it turns slightly golden brown. Now put a spoonful (or more
) of sugar on one side and turn around. The sugar will caramelize and coat the banana. Repeat to coat the other side also. Take care not to burn. Sprinkle with roasted cashew nuts to serve.
