I am in my parents’ house and right now it’s the peak of Monsoon season. As I am writing this, it’s pouring outside. It rains like this for over 5 months every year, the rain that doesn’t stop for days… I miss the sights, sounds and smells of monsoon in Bangalore. Monsoon is slow, relaxing and almost meditative.
I am enjoying my time here. My daughter is getting her fill of dancing naked in the rain. We are both happy to sleep, dream and do nothing.
Our house is still under renovation (or ‘broken’ as my daughter calls it) and our life as refugees continues for some more time. I am thinking of staying here for a couple of weeks till our house is ready.
