Its summer in India and temperature in my home town is 33°C | 25°C. Pre-monsoon showers are not helping the situation. It’s not only hot but also very humid. Everybody is only talking about the heat and waiting for monsoon.
The best way to beat the heat is by indulging in some fresh fruit smoothies. They are sweet, creamy, smooth and incredibly healthy for you! Here is a combo of the best of tropical fruits all of which contain tons of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. If all the fruits used are ripe and sweet you don’t even need any sugar in it. In case you want more sweetness add a dollop of honey for extra goodness. This smoothie is great with or without milk/yogurt, so try it plain for a vegan version.
All the fruits used in the smoothie are fresh from our own garden. The combo worked really well but I am pretty sure this would still taste great with just mango + papaya or mango + papaya + banana.
Try a big glass full of this delicious golden smoothie for breakfast this summer!
